In 1963, the solid-body EDS-1275 was designed, based on a SG model body. it consists in a 6 string neck combined with 12 string one.

 

Available until 1968 and then again after 1974, the guitar was available in jet black, cherry, sunburst, white and walnut.

Most notable users are Jimmy Page (cherry version), Don Felder of the Eagles (white version), Slash (black version) and also John Mc Laughlin, Earl Hooker, Elvis Presley (in Spinout movie), Steve Miller, Eddie Van Halen just to name a few.

 

This particular one we have here was produced on August 13th 1982 in the Nashville plant and bear a very well maintained Walnut finish on a mahogany body. Figured maple necks.

This guitar is in great, like new condition with no buckle rash. It comes with original Gibson case, manual and inspection tag.
