The Shorthorn Bass (model number 3412) was produced by Danelectro using a Masonite body between 1958 and 1966.

Produced with a short pickguard between 1958 and 1960 compared to long pickguard after 1960.

Equipped with 15 frets, this bass has a short-length neck, however, since the strings extend to the bottom of the body the scale is actually closer to full sized.

It is usually in bad shape but here the copper finish in very good condition for its age.

It is very light and plays like butter. One lipstick pickup but a three way switch that gives you 3 different tones.

Comes with a rectangular vintage hardcase.

Try to find one another in Europe!!
