One of the rarest models in the Gibson catalog, the Super 300 was introduced in 1948 and discontinued just seven years later in 1955.

 

During its short career, only  204 Super 300's were produced in total (33 guitars produced in 1951).

 

Structurally identical to the ornate Super 400, the Super 300 offered top-of-the line super jumbo performance with more understated trim.

 

Super 300 model has an 18inch body size (same as Super 400)

 

This one is structurally in good condition with old very stable repairs.

 

It is equipped with a Dearmond floating pickup.

 

Comes with original black case (yellow plush)
