Gibson 50s string display

This rare item made of wood with a glass front is a Gibson string display from the 50s.

It is supposed to be placed on music shop counter. Glass front on the customer’s side and back on the dealer’s side.

Back can be opened to fill in or get string packs.

This display has been replaced in the 60s by a similar one with wooden front.
